    Little bit about me

    Hello,

My name is Hannah Gardiner and I have lived in Acton my whole life. I am currently in my last year at the University of Bristol studying Psychology and will be returning back to Acton for good in June. I have interests in art, sustainability and international development. Since being at university, I have been apart of the Student for Refugees committee and currently I am Head of Events for the Bristol University Sustainability team; a role I enjoy and love because I get to research and plan exciting and new events that can educate and engage the students. I choose to be apart of these communities because it meant I would be able to learn more about sustainability and international development, and be proud of my actions because they have the potential to make social change (even the smallest amount is good!). In addition to this, I volunteered with World Citizen Artists, a company that stands as a platform for artists to raise awareness about social and environmental global problems. This opportunity allowed me to gain an understanding of the creative industry, as well as increase my skills in research and communication with those in the public and my team. I would love to be apart of a new creative community back in Acton, and use my time and motivation to promote art and use it as a bridge to further engage those around. I believe that art has the power to bring people together, and also be used as a tool for healthy expression. I would be grateful to be apart of Artification and would be open to help in many opportunities.

    Thank you for your time.
