In every work I create, I put all I have inside. Every piece tells a story, and it is the result of a very specific feeling. All of them are unique pieces created in a time of internal burning. I find no sense in creating a piece without having a strong sickening need to do so. My pieces are made of fire.

Francesca Busca

https://www.francescabusca.art

As an Eco-artivist, ‘Rubbish artist’ and mosaicist, I pioneer sustainable art and create my artworks entirely out of waste.
Torn between optimism and surrender, haunted by the idea of mankind’s imminent self-destruction, I believe in a future through systemic re-thinking. Every tessera I create is in itself a protest against our disposable lifestyle. I thoroughly enjoy working within the ethical and material limitations involved, working with materials which often take years to gather, and whose legacy I like to extend beyond their mere creation, as the starting point for a continued, multi-faceted narrative through layers of staged photography.
Gesamtkunstwerk, my commitment to sustainability encompasses every aspect of my life, from veganism to renewables, second-hand clothes (…) to not flying.

Ex-City solicitor, I then graduated with distinction at LSoM in 2019, where I also lectured Fabrication. Internationally, I exhibited in 100+ venues, was published in 90+ articles and textbooks, and won 20+ awards.

Founder of Payment in Kind(ness)© and ArtforTrash©, I also run pro-bono art projects on eco-awareness and sustainability.

I am now on a retainer with the Institute of Marine Sciences in Venice, collaborating with the institute and with some prestigious art institutes over the next few years.

I am an artist and architect based in West London.
My medium is black ink pen and marker on Fabriano paper. I create a series of drawings and am currently working on a Biophilia project focused on nature and culture themes.
I was brought up in the forest of Borneo and my work reflects my heritage of living in nature.
My drawings series began in 2010 amid the financial crisis. Then after the pandemic struck in 2019, I have been rigorously spending more time on drawing series in which I am seeking a representation for my works.

Georgie Moore

Nudes and nature are my most prominent source of inspiration and subject. I believe that depicting people in their most natural form expresses a sense of honesty and vulnerability. Furthermore, clothes would date the image and constrict the artwork to a precise moment in time. I try to make the era and location somewhat ambiguous and unrecognizable, because I like to create images that are both comforting with their familiarity, but also raise curiosity and questions open to each personal interpretation.

In an aim to rekindle a somewhat lost relationship with something that is fundamental to our survival and well-being, my work focuses on the human relationship with nature. Female forms are reoccurring in my practice as they too have the ability to create and bring new life to the world. For this reason, they play the role of a metaphor for mother nature herself. Furthermore, I often include animals that I have had personal experiences with and enjoy researching their symbolic meaning

I begin by roughly sketching out my idea, and then do a cyanotype print; a photosensitive chemical process which needs to be exposed in the sun. The outcome varies dramatically depending on weather conditions and time of year. I then paint over the print with acrylic paint. The cyanotype stains the canvas, whereas the acrylic sits on the surface, creating a real contrast in textures. Furthermore, it combines a natural phenomenon with a man made medium. I also enjoy playing with scale by having recognisable plants larger than the figures, as it emphasizes how we are a small part of the world and not the center, nor the most significant...

We believe dance can be used as a tool to positively change people’s minds and opinions about each other and to become united within the dance culture. Dance itself is a universal language that everybody understands and can relate too, it removes all barriers between individuals and what they want to communicate, It illustrates the development of human culture. Society Dance Academy firmly believes that if we focus on developing the young generation, creatively and socially, it will have an impact on them and others, for a better future.

Dance creates experiences for young people that will allow them to participate in a range of dance forms and styles. As well as providing them with the experience of performing, confidence and opportunities for leadership roles.

Our vision for our students is to provide them with the highest training and give them opportunities to reach their goals by also inspiring them to carry this movement forward into the future, allowing them to become the next generation of Mentors/dancers, choreographers and teachers that continue to create society with dance. We strive to bring out their creativity and teach them to express themselves through movement, but most importantly we want all students to enjoy this experience.

O. Yemi Tubi - An Artist and Advocate for the World’s Peace.
I am a Nigerian-born, American-trained Artist residing in the United Kingdom an artist with a unique personal style. Most of my recent paintings were influenced by the political and social upheaval of our world today and the works of Renaissance artists.
I was moved by emotion to do most of my political and socially influenced paintings “THE EAGLE HAS LANDED” was done to speak about the American-led war on terror. My painting “THE BLEEDING ROSES” was done in solidarity with Christians beheaded by ISIS in Iraq and Syria. I used my paintings “AFRICAN’T”, “HUNGER IN THE LAND OF PLENTY” and “OIL: AFRICANS’ WEALTH AND WOE” to speak about the exploitation of African nations. The Painting depicts paradoxical poverty and the riches of Africa. my work, “THE FISHERS OF MEN” is about the horror of refugees drowning in the Mediterranean Sea. I also used my painting – “UKRAINE: THE UNFORTUNATE BRIDE” to speak about the America and Russia-influenced war in Ukraine.
My works progress from political paintings to paintings of the facts of the life of people.
The theme of my works, in general, is "The Facts of Life: Roses and Thorns." Life is roses and thorns; sometimes it emanates the sweet aroma of pleasantness and sometimes it pricks and causes pains. I often use roses and thorns for portrait paintings of the facts of people's lives. I first used Roses and Thorns in my political painting “THE BLEEDING ROSES.” Since then I have adopted this floral iconography style - Roses and Thorns as my unique style in some of my paintings like “DOMESTIC ABUSE”, and “MY MOTHER, Her Majesty Platinum Jubilee: Her Rosy Reign” to name a few. Roses are for achievements and other positive parts of life and Thorns are painful challenges and negative parts of life.

She has recently begun a series of ethereal portraits of women and girls interacting with light, both a visual investigation of the playfulness of light on a figure and a symbolic gesture recognising how painting in a community of women brought sparked a new energy in her artistic practice. She is also experimenting with geometry, 3D-space and optical illusion work.

Being both an artist and art psychotherapist, I am interested in the healing capacity of art as well as its role in conveying meaning and communication with both the internal and external words. I draw inspiration for my paintings from my unconscious as it manifests in dreams and visions. I am inspired by esoteric sciences such as Kabbalah and quantum mechanics. My treatment of photography evokes that of painting and is highly experimental in nature. The shots are created with the use of self-made optical devices, which allow me to beguile the camera into shooting abstract images. In more than one way these instruments replace paint tubes and brushes.
